Indian Institute of Technology Indore located in Madhya Pradesh, known as IIT Indore or IITI, is an institute of national importance established by the Government of India in 2009
1. Bachelor of Technology (BTech) from AY 2009-10 in
2. Master of Technology (MTech) with provision of converting to MTech + PhD dual degree at the end of 3rd Semester
3. Two-year Master of Science (MSc) with provision of converting to MSc + PhD dual degree at the end of 3rd Semester
4. Five-year BTech + MTech (only for eligible BTech students of IIT Indore at the end of 6th semester)
5. PhD Program (from AY 2010-11) in
Presently, IIT Indore is functioning from two locations: first one at IET-DAVV Campus (Khandwa Road) and another at PACL Campus (Hardnia Khedi Village, Indore-MHOW Road). At IET-DAVV Campus, we have our Administrative offices including Director's Secretariat, Registrar's office, Offices of the Dean of Faculty Affairs (DoFA), Dean of Planning and Administration (DoPA), Materials Management section and Finance and Accounts Section. The School of Basic Sciences and the School of Humanities and Social Sciences are also functioning from this campus. There are various basic sciences labs established in this campus. At PACL campus, we have our Academic office including offices of Dean of Academic Affairs (DoAA) and Dean of Research and Development (DoRD). The School of Engineering is functioning at PACL campus. There are various engineering labs are established in this campus. The Central Library is located in the both the campuses.
The Academic office is responsible for all the academic affairs of the students of the Institute. There is a Dean of Academic Affairs, an Associate Dean (Academic), a Deputy Registrar and two Junior Assistants in this office besides some contractual employees.
