The Hurricanes hope to bounce back quickly and earn their first win of the campaign tonight as they visit the Edmonton Oilers. The Oilers lost their first five games (0-4-1) of the season, including the opener of a seven-game homestand on Oct. 17, but have rebounded to win two straight. They have picked up wins over Tampa Bay and Washington, both by a 3-2 score, most recently topping the Capitals on Wednesday.
